Updating Your General Mobile DSTL1
We've received tremendous feedback on General Mobile DSTL1 and some great suggestions to improve the product even more. In response to your requests, we're pleased to offer product enhancements to make your usage experience better than ever. Updating your phone is simple. Just follow the instructions below.

How to Check SW Version:
You can check the SW version by entering Settings -> About phone -> Build number menu.

How to Install the Product Update:
If you update your DSTL1 for the first time, please reset your device to factory settings.

If there is an "update" folder in your sd card, please delete it first. Unzip downloaded firmware file and put "update" folder into your sd card

1- Upgrade recovery.img first.

• Power on the phone

• Wait for a few minutes

• The file of /sdcard/update/recovery.img deleted,mean the recovery image update successful.

2- Power off the phone

3- Make sure your phone is off, and press the Home key together with the Power & End key to enter the recovery mode, do the operations following the UI indication:

• Press the Home key to search the update folder from your memory card, and press the Home key again to update the software.

• Press the Power & End key key to reboot your phone after update finishes.

Note: Data (Contacts, messages, previously installed app, and etc.) will be lost so please back up your personal data before downloading new SW

How to update your General Mobile DSTL1


1. DOWNLOAD Download the SW update.If you update your DSTL1 for the first time, please reset your device to factory settings.	2. COPY If there is an "update" folder in your sd card, please delete it. Unzip downloaded "update.zip" firmware file file and put "update" folder into your sd card. Power on the phone again and wait for a few minutes.	3. ENTER RECOVERY MODE Make sure your phone is off, and press the Home key together with the Power & End key to enter the recovery mode


4. SELECT Press the Home key to search the zip file from your memory card	5. SELECT Press the Home key again to update the software.	6. REBOOT Press the Power & End key to reboot your phone after update finishes.
